Welcome to Our Home

People often ask us how our new house is coming. We usually answer with a trite"good" or "okay" (depending on the day!), mostly because we figure people don't want to hear us ramble about ugly 80's wallpaper in the kitchen or how we spent most of Sunday afternoon contemplating the appropriate placement of a bookshelf.

Then I realized people probably DO want to hear about those things. And I have to admit, it is pretty exciting: you only move into your first house once. So I'll post it all here (complete with pictures!), so if they want to know all the details they can read it here (or not).

Just know that I may write two entries and abandon this project forever....we'll see.
